Subscription Policy

This Subscription Policy is part of our Terms of Use and governs all subscription plans, one-time purchases, cancellations, and refunds related to the Aureli app and services ("Services") provided by Aureli Labs LLC ("Aureli," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Subscription Plans

Aureli offers the following subscription plans, each providing access to our premium features:

  • Weekly — renews every 7 days
  • Monthly — renews every calendar month
  • Quarterly — renews every 3 months
  • Semi-Annual — renews every 6 months
  • Annual — renews every 12 months

Available plans and pricing may vary by platform and region. The applicable price will be displayed to you before purchase confirmation.

One-Time Purchases

We may also offer one-time purchases for specific content such as individual courses, specialized programs, or other digital products. One-time purchases do not auto-renew and are subject to the refund terms outlined in Section 6.

2. Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods at our sole discretion. If a free trial is available:

  • The trial provides full access to premium features for the specified trial duration.
  • At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the price displayed when you started the trial, unless you cancel before the trial expires.
  • You must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends to avoid being charged.
  • Free trials are available to new users only. If you have previously used or redeemed a free trial, you may not be eligible for another.
  • We reserve the right to limit, modify, or withdraw free trial offers at any time without notice.

3. Auto-Renewal

All subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. The renewal charge will be applied to your payment method on file within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

  • Subscriptions continue to renew until you actively cancel.
  • Inactive usage of the App does not pause or cancel your subscription. You will continue to be charged even if you do not use the App.
  • If your payment method fails at renewal, your access to premium features may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

4. Payment Methods

4.1 Apple App Store

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple. All payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled through your Apple Account settings. Your purchase is subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions, and Apple acts as the payment processor for these transactions.

4.2 Google Play Store

Subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store are billed and managed by Google. All payment, renewal, and cancellation are handled through the Google Play Store app or website. Your purchase is subject to Google's applicable terms and conditions, and Google acts as the payment processor for these transactions.

4.3 Website (Direct & Paddle)

Subscriptions and purchases made through our website may be processed directly by us or by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), which acts as our merchant of record. Where Paddle is the merchant of record, Paddle processes your payment, manages billing, handles applicable sales tax and VAT, and is the seller of record for tax purposes. Your purchase through Paddle is subject to Paddle's terms of service and buyer terms in addition to these Terms.

Accepted payment methods for website purchases include major credit and debit cards and other methods as made available through our payment processor.

5. How to Cancel

IMPORTANT: Deleting the Aureli app from your device does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the platform where you originally purchased your subscription to stop future charges.

Cancel an Apple App Store Subscription

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select the Aureli subscription.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions through the App Store app or at apps.apple.com.

Cancel a Google Play Store Subscription

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. Tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  3. Select the Aureli subscription.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Cancel a Website Subscription

To cancel a subscription purchased through our website, you may:

  • Log in to your account on our website and navigate to your subscription settings to cancel.
  • Contact our support team at contact@aureli-labs.com with a clear cancellation request.
  • If your purchase was processed by Paddle, you may also manage your subscription through the Paddle buyer portal using the link provided in your purchase confirmation email.

Cancellation Timing

You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current paid billing period.
  • After your current period expires, your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or access to premium content will be discontinued.
  • No prorated refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 General Policy

All purchases are generally non-refundable.

We do not provide refunds for any subscription fees already charged, including for partially used subscription periods. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept that you are purchasing access to digital content and services, and that your subscription fee is earned upon payment.

6.2 App Store & Google Play Purchases

We are unable to process refunds for subscriptions or purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for an app store purchase, you must contact Apple or Google directly:

  • Apple: Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google: Request a refund through the Google Play Store app or at support.google.com/googleplay

Refund decisions for app store purchases are made solely by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies.

6.3 Website Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases made through our website are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If your purchase was processed by Paddle as merchant of record, Paddle's refund terms may also apply.

6.4 Legally Required Refund Rights

Notwithstanding the above, we respect your statutory refund rights where applicable law requires:

  • European Economic Area & United Kingdom: If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive. You may exercise this right by contacting us atcontact@aureli-labs.com within 14 days of your initial purchase. If you have already accessed or used premium content during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal to the extent the digital content has been fully provided.
  • California & Connecticut (USA): Residents of California and Connecticut may cancel and receive a full refund within three (3) business days of the date of purchase.
  • Other Jurisdictions: If your local law provides mandatory refund or cooling-off rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights apply. Contact us at contact@aureli-labs.com to exercise them.

6.5 One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases of digital content (such as courses or specialized programs) are non-refundable once the content has been accessed, downloaded, or streaming has commenced, except where required by applicable law.

6.6 No Partial Refunds

We do not provide prorated or partial refunds for any unused portion of a subscription period, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team at contact@aureli-labs.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
  • Loss of access to all content and data associated with your account.
  • Ineligibility for future access to the Services until the dispute is resolved.

We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback that we believe to be invalid and to pursue recovery of fees owed.

8. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change the pricing of our subscription plans and one-time purchases at any time. If we change the price of a subscription plan you are currently subscribed to:

  • We will provide you with at least 30 days' advance notice of the price change via email, in-app notification, or through the applicable app store.
  • The new price will take effect at the start of your next billing period following the notice period.
  • Your continued use of the Services after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
  • If you do not agree with the price change, you must cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
